and logistics experts to seek out high quality sources of
supply, place print orders, track schedules, control quality
and organize shipping.
Sophisticated computer and communications
systems keep track of over 600 titles at any one time.
As a major print buyer, MPA is able to achieve
the sharpest prices and the tightest delivery schedules and
is recognized as a fair but demanding customer with a long
record of successful co-operation with the indigenous print
industries of Pacific Rim countries.
In all, MPA uses some 60 suppliers, selecting
those with expertise in particular types of product and with
good records of high quality and reliable production.
